RIP
Kathryn Long.
Kathryn Long, one of our Tour
Members, had been
battling non-Hodgkin's disease and came down with pneumonia in November
and began deteriorating. Kathryn passed away at 8:10pm April 15,
2009. She
will be missed.

every event. We will keep
these funds for unfortunate circumstances to our players. We will
keep
a running tally at each event so that folks know that it is being done

"Time Out with a
Board Member" means any player can approach a board
member to talk in private about an issue (except during a match).

Qualifier Changes: PLEASE
READ! If you wish to play on the WPBA, you need to be
aware that your ranking at the end of the year now determines a chance
to play in the WPBA starting in 2010. PLEASE

WPBA Fee ($25), now
required:
The
WPBA is requiring all members of WPBA-Sanctioned Regional Tours to
pay the WPBA Fee of $25. Per the WPBA Regional Handbook,
we should have been collecting the fees all along (oops!), even if you
don't enter the WPBA Qualifier. Sorry for the short notice, but
we were just informed ourselves.

Chance Tournament on Sunday, even if you didn't play in the main event

during the tournament!

can bring your own shirt(s) to get embroidered ($6).
Wear a Hunter Shirt or OB Cues Ladies
9-Ball Tour shirt at another event and
point it out to a Board Member, and then you'll get a
scratch off ticket at your next OB Cues tourney.
The OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour allows
jeans and
sneakers, but don't wear sweats or t-shirts Saturday or

The
Player's Meeting at 10:00 am.
Sign up by 10:00 am - play starts after Player's Meeting.
Non-Smoking
Policy
New non-smoking policy is only
in effect during matches, not
in the entire
pool room. In addition, one break per person per match continues
and you may use that break to smoke outside the playing area.
